Please note that even if Transconjunctival blepharoplasty is offered among the treatment it is not guaranteed that doctor will advise it. This is understandable because not everyone is suitable but the doctor does not disclose the frequency in which he actually performs this type of surgery. Also, I asked but was not provided with any good close up picture of a healed scar in case one chooses to do the standard type lower blepharoplasty surgery with external incision.

I had ptosis surgery with this clinic a year ago, and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. I read that someone gave a review that if results are good, the experience is good, if they are bad and you express it, the doctor becomes hostile. That was exactly my experience. After the surgery, my scar developed a visible white bubble, which they recommended a CO₂ laser treatment. Even after the laser, the area stayed swollen. When I contacted the clinic, they repeatedly claimed my insurance was invalid even though I had valid insurance. This has happened multiple times and made me feel like they were avoiding giving me the follow-up care I needed. I insisted to get one-year follow-up because my eye was still noticeably swollen and the scar very visible. I first spoke to the assistant that was understanding, but when the doctor Jesper entered the room the interaction became hostile. I tried to express my concerns and ask whether this level of swelling was normal after a year. Instead of hearing me out or offering guidance, he became defensive and dismissive, repeating comments like "I’m not God" and asking if I had "studied biology." His tone was belittling and completely out of place. What I expected, and what any patient should be able to expect, is to be heard, to have my concerns taken seriously, and to receive support or at least a clear plan for follow-up. Instead, I was met by a hostile reaction and told to leave. To make matters worse, the doctor again insisted that my insurance was invalid and asked me to pay. I refused and asked them to call to confirm that my insurance was valid, which it was. This was, without exaggeration, the worst interaction I have ever had with a medical professional.
